A CAPITAL TRAINING RUN

I landed in Washington DC today on a business trip. Decided to go for a run around the mall (only had my blackberry with me - thus the grainy photos). You know, sometimes a city run not only makes you feel good....it can make you feel damn proud.

Nice pictures! They remind me of a few visits to DC from my place in NC 12 yr ago.

They are good preview for me because I'll be there this week as part of my OD100 trip. I'll stroll around the Mall :-)

Fantastic! I think it's been over 10 years for me to visit DC, and I remember my feet and legs aching at the end of the day touring the monuments. I wasn't much of a runner then, tho. This must have been a great run, thanks for reminding us what a great country this can be too.

Peter:

It was so much fun, I did it again this morning (but ran over towards the Capital building itself). Congrats again on your top 3 finish!

Chihping:

You'll have a great time. It is a nice city to jog around (traffic lights are the biggest problem). GOOD LUCK at OD!

Baldwin:

I get back here at least 6 or so times a year - never get tired of running here though.

Hey Alan,

Nice pix - brought back good memories of the Marine Corps Marathon last Oct. Lovely place...
